I've done that several times already this morning. Seemingly, you're far too dense to pick up on that!...

If Scotland voted to leave the UK - which will not happen - they would have to apply to join the EU - which would not happen - and spend many years negotiating.

Should I have been convinced by you that there would have been a second EU referendum and MPs vote down Brexit?

I have never said that that would happen. Only that's it's possible. The referendum is not legally binding, although I expect parliament to follow its decision.

However, attitudes change, as do opinions. If at the end of final negotiations on Brexit, when it's clear that there will be no further movement in either sides position, the then incumbent Gvt decided to ask the British people once again if they were sure that this is what they wanted, I can't see a problem with that.

No reason to bite, I just posted a point quite a sensible one at that (for me) but it doesn't suit his rhetoric so it's ignored. My post could be read by anyone on this thread and taken for what it is as it points out a fault in human nature that is at the heart of the political problems in this country....y'manc twat!

"Are you sure?", "Are you really sure?", "Are you really, really sure?", "Are you really, really, really sure?"
The referendum has happened and the result is in. Accept the result and move on. The government and most of the country is moving towards a life outside the EU.
