To be fair to TWS, a couple of their signings have been alright. Bridcutt's a good player, particularly at that level.
Got to say Negredo and Bridcutt were very very good signings, and Schindler would be on my list too........
It will be good to see what as the Norwich manager calls a 'monster' up front again, we have not really had a proper one since Billy W.
What about The Beast! When he first came mind, those games v Wednesday & Leeds stand out in my memory!
Adam Armstrong is an outstanding signing for Barnsley. He'll score a hell of a lot of goals this season. If he'd been a permanent then I'd put him above Negredo who I think is comfortably the best signing from the Yorkshire clubs. 3rd would be Marshall followed by Fischer, Bridcutt and Mason in that order.
It's the price you have to pay for quality mate. We can't all get cheap gems like Vardy & mahrez TWT if we have overpaid. If we stay up (which I think we will) it's a bargain.
12m for an injury prone 7th choice centre mid is overpaying, whichever which way you look at it. I suppose it's the price you pay for leaving down to the last minute. I want him to do well, but I really don't rate him at all.
Levy is an expert at catching us as a club with our trousers down. We have broken our transfer record fee 5 times with Spurs alone!!!
There's players at your club though that I still don't rate, despite you being Champions! One in particular Wes Morgan - donkey. Turning circle of the titanic and the pace of a snail, honestly I have never seen him have a decent game. Whenever we have faced him as a centre half whether at Forest or Leicester we've generally taken points. I think he's dog ****. Somehow, in your team he works. His mistakes must generally be covered by Huth or Schmeichel?
I'm the same with Albrighton. He seems to do what Elmo does and just stick a ball in and hope for the best. Never has a decent game when I watch him.
