Attitudes change, Custard. So, do moods ( see my Mrs about that one!) who knows what the the nation's attitude may be in a couple of years or so when a deal is hopefully being finalised?

    To steal a quote
'Ideologies are mental prisons that produce blindness'

If when it all comes down to it the best available position is the current one then it shouldn't be dismissed.

People like Kustard don't change their attitudes. When you're as hardcore a bigot as he is (and to be fair to him at least he's honest about his prejudices unlike others) then you're never going to change. Hopefully he hasn't yet poisoned his kids' minds.

    You are quite right

At this time we want out, next year we want in, following year we want out again....

But the vote will stand, irrespective of what we think next week.

By that logic we should stop having elections altogether.

Thats the point, we keep changing our minds. so cant keep having referendums to suit the mood of the day.

    What is done is done.

Don't we have elections every five years just on the off chance people change their minds?

It wasn't a binding referendum and it's stupid, so we should just ignore it.
Farage has ****ed off now and UKIP's dying on it's arse, so **** it off.

That kind of mindset will dull over time though. A few weeks after the referendum and calls for a second vote etc were rightly shouted down.

Brexit is Brexit was born under May, but she appears to be in no rush to actually do it. If the reality of the deal we can do ends up being unpalatable in a years time, and public opinion is strongly against it, then the politicians will go with the flow, as they always do.

I think Brexit means Brexit is a soundbite to placate the far right of her party...

Yes every 5 years, not every time a few snowflakes cry because they did not get the vote they wanted.

Tipical snowflake, crying because the result was not what you wanted.

Get over it, move on, you lost, Brexit will happen

This is standard Brexiter nonsense. It wasn't a game of football.

The result wasn't binding and that was made clear before the vote.
Do you think that everyone that wanted to leave would've just stopped if the result had gone the other way?
Of course not, so why do you think that people that don't want to leave should support it happening?
