    Pretty happy with my prediction from 9th July, only slight change is I don't think we'll make it out of the Europa group, 3rd in that I think

    Probably around about 12th. Maybe a tad higher, if the players settle into the new formation quick enough (or it is ditched).

    I don't see much point in predicting the cups, because that is somewhat of a lottery (eg luck of the draw). But given that the EL starts with a group stage, and we know our opponents, I'd like to think that we'll sneak through the group. But I'll leave any predicting there.

    FYI, the average guess for Saints' finishing position last year in the charity competition was tenth. The highest guess was Chilco with 8th. Just saying.

    There's so many variables really with EL, new manager, new players, Boufal coming back from injury etc. that it's really hard to call where we will finish. I said last night that we must be one of the most difficult teams to predict for this year.

    If I had to pick one position I would say 14th.
