Can't believe he's still there, funny as ****. Jumped up little twat got what he deserved and Spurs dodged a bullet.
Has he forced a move to a big club as you predicted? No. You fcuked up massively! Tried to wum, but it backfired. I love how you keep trying to wriggle out of this one.
Ah but HIAG my little **** up friend. I think you'll find that I said 'if he continues to improve' then a big club will come in for him. Clearly he's regressed. So my comment stands. Has he gone on strike and forced a move to Spurs yet ?
You claimed that he'd do one thing and then follow it up with one of two other things. Absolutely none of that happened. He didn't knuckle down, he fell out with his manager, he didn't get a big move and he hasn't signed a contract. How are you still claiming that you were right, exactly?
And if that didn't happen, then he'd sign a new deal. He's said that he's not going to do that and he'll leave for free. You were wrong. Why can't you just admit it?
You didn't qualify that he would knuckle down - wrongly. You suggested that despite knuckling down he may or may not improve, which is very different to what you are now claiming.
He could still sign a new deal In all seriousness, my original comment wasn't even a wum, it was a genuine opinion on Berahino at the time, but HIAG decided to jump on it and made an idiot of himself. Berahino was looking good for a while and as I said, if he had continued to improve, then I think one of the big clubs would have come in for him. But it seems his attitude is way off where it should be. Spurs have dodged a bullet with him.
Berahino's a good player and I think he'll end up sorting himself out, but he's not a Pulis player, in any sense. He needs to pick the right move after this season or his career could go out the window completely. An attacking side who'll pair him with another striker that will complement his game would be ideal. It's tricky though, as not many Premier League teams play two up top and on the front foot.
Is any striker a Pulis type of player though ? He seems to squeeze the life and energy out of any exciting player. One of the most negative managers in the Premier League. Berahino clearly has an attitude problem, is that linked to Pulis and WBA though ? He seemed to be 'off the rails' before Pulis arrived. I agree though, he needs to choose his next move wisely as he's already on a downwards spiral and looks unfit and disinterested.
Berahino's early career reminded me of Defoe's, a bit. Some silly off-field stuff, but impressive on it. Similar style of play, family/faith stuff and mixed reports on attitude and ambition. If he can push on and sort himself out a bit, then I can see him having a similar career from now on. Pulis likes hard working, physical, hold-up strikers or those that run the channels endlessly and win set-pieces. His teams basically set up to defend, nick the odd free-kick and either steal the points or avoid losing. It's mind-numbing stuff and I can't see him changing. He'll probably move clubs soon.
Wow! This has got to be the U-Turn of the Century! Game! Set! and Match! Not sure you'll ever be able to live this one down, Pixie!
