Stan is just looking for a nibble from a Liverpool fan. The owners have done ok and Klopp has stated that he can spend and he has done, we've just done pretty well selling players.
He had the odd minute. That goal bought him a lot of currency with Chelsea fans, but overall he was pretty lacklustre. Like I said, he was very fast, and could run all day, but his passing was piss poor, and his shooting wasn't great either.
Their net spend (the Tar Man enters the discussion) is c.£160m in 6 seasons. To put that into context, Arsenal who are slated for spending nothing have invested £190m.
Until this season, Arsenal hadn't spent enough. But Arsenal are CL side so I would expect more investment. Also Liverpools net spend is offset somewhat by the ludicrious fee they received for Count Goofy. I would expect Liverpool to actually have finished higher, given the amount of investment, compared to say West Ham, Leicester or Southampton, who all finished higher than them.
I aslo imagine Stans figures include buying and then selling Benteke. We've also sold Ibe for decent money in this window along with decent money for some deadwood. We have to do better in the transfer market though, we've brought in a lot and sold a lot in the last window, hopefully at long last Klopp can focus on quality other than quantity next Summer.
Liverpool have been doing this since rafa was there. Your player turnover is ridiculous. Maybe you need better scouts, because you seem to have so many players in and out, in and out.
It's because so many managers have got it wrong, Rodgers the latest culprit with the likes of Benteke and Markovic and others. Hopefully Klopp will stop the rot, his signings so far look pretty good.
That's right Spurs geezer, you just concentrate out how to get rid of Sissoko for decent money in January.
