Trouble is that's the only attribute he shares with yaya toure. Toure can actually play football though.
So can Sissoko. He completely eclipsed the 3x more expensive Pogba at Euro 16! In any case, as I pointed out, if whatever he does works, great! It certainly worked for France. And, as for going missing, a certain Mr Pogba has been known to do that too! He won't be allowed to go missing under MP, that's for sure.
I keep hearing this, but... Reality check. Joe Allen was in the team of the tournament in Pogba's position. Yes the little fellow hat plays for Stoke with a beard.
You need to rejig your value meter, Sky. As somebody said, £30mill has become the new £10mill with all the money in the PL nowadays. Slimani £29mill, a failed Benteke £27mill....the list goes on all the way to Pogba at £90mill!...
Great window for Leicester. Kante will be a massive loss, you'll probably set up differently now, but have the players to do so. But the bottom line is you won't be flirting with relegation any time soon.... Unless I have something to do with it
£30mil is standard - I agree. But you pulled out then jumped back in with minutes to spare. Bit desperate, and showed he wasn't a target. Is he purely cover for Dembele? Where will he fit?
Sissoko is alright by me. He played a major part in dumping the mags out of the prem. Well done Sissoko. Well played.
Not a big Sissoko fan I have to say. Reminds me of one of our ex players Ramires. Good engine and legs, but cannot pass or shoot for **** and has the ball control of an elephant. Honestly think Spurs already have better options. But with the added burden of the CL he beefs up your squad I guess.
Can't disagree! It was obvious to most of us that Ashley would never move on his price. So, if we thought he was the player for our particular jigsaw, why not just do the deal. But then that's one of the more infuriating things about Levy, everything last minute, always trying to screw the last penny out. I'm actually amazed the deal got done, He's general midfield cover, I think. He's capable of playing further back too. You guys have a bigger, more in depth squad than us. With the CL to contend with I'm sure there'll be plenty of rotation.
... we played Daniel Amartey in the Kante role against swansea and he had a terrific game- my MOTM .... different in that he is quite a big lad (played at centre-back for Copenhagen) but he is incredibly quick and agile ... only 22 so bodes well ... Our attack now is mouth watering ... I do worry about the ACON impact tbf ... but such is life.
... he was good in the Euros ... but in a French side that were a bit hit and miss tbf ... he was ineffectual in games against us last season - indeed the only games he really seemed to impress in were the two AGAINST the Spuds! ... perhaps he was hoping to impress as part of some longer term plan ... seems to have a touch of the Adebayors about him perhaps? - got some talent but only really uses it in small bursts ...
Plus he comes across as being so arrogant - He was on social media asking Real Madrid to 'come get me' What a bellend. Plays badly, falls out with players and is selfish and thinks everything is about him - not a player I'd want in my squad. We just gave one of them to Nice for free!!
Liverpool made a profit in this transfer window. I've said it before, the owners have very limited ambitions for the club and are cheating the fans. They bought cheap, have more than doubled their money and aren't going to risk their profit by trying to compete for a top 4 place. No idea why so many Liverpool fans think FSG are such great owners. They're packaging Liverpool up to sell on at a huge profit.
After Hicks and Gillett, Josef Fritzl would look like a good owner to be fair. FSG haven't done too bad, they have splashed the cash when needed to. Where they have failed is in hiring douche bag managers who misspend their cash like Woy, Dogleash and Brenda. Jury's out on Klippety.
