Most of us share this opinion. I wasn't remotely impressed with what I saw when you demolished us last season as quite frankly Theresa May would've flattened us that day we were so ****e.

If there's a coach out there who can get the best out of him, it might be Poch. He is as no-nonsense as they come and isn't afraid to ditch players if they cross him - as Townsend, Kaboul, Lennon, Capoue, Adebayor and Bentaleb all found out. He drives his players harder and further than any other manager I've seen at Spurs so there is a quietly optimistic part of me that believes this was the right, albeit expensive, move.

 

Sissy will undergo the same metamorphosis from caterpillar to footballing butterfly as did Lamela, under Poch. You mark my words, lads.

I'm happy with Sissoko...he's a big game player. I think Poch and his work ethic philosophy will bring out the best in Sissoko in our bread and butter games too. We have got ourselves a tough team lads.
