£30m for an arrogant overrated knobend who we don't even want and is only any good for 5 games a season? Tough choice, tough choice....

It'll be the ****ing deal of the year if it goes through, yeah we robbed Liverpool with Carroll, but at least he was in awesome form, Sissoko's just had a utter dogshit season!

Any chance of spending any of this money before the window shuts?

Fair play to Charnley if the porky little twat has pulled this one off. It looks like he has got his own back over 'tough negotiator' Levy after he was made to look a twat over the Townsend deal. To get one club offering £30 mill for Sissoko is unbelievable................ to get two clubs offering it is madness.

In a straight contest Sissoko will choose Spurs I would imagine, bright lights of London and all that.................. plus he can visit The Emirates and ask Arsene why he didn't bid for him, bearing in mind Sissoko has been whoring himself in that direction for a good year or so.

A decent war chest for the January window if things aren't quite gelling the way Rafa would like. Or if its going well, keep our powder dry for a spree next summer.

£30m for Sissoko and now Sammy Ameobi has gone on loan to Bolton. Could today get any better? <laugh>

Crazy money... You managed to get £30m for him from 2 different clubs.. Desperate times.

Good work, no time to reinvest that money though but guess top up in Jan if needed

Sissoko leaves Everton high and dry and scuttles off to the Spuds.
What a piece of dogshit he is, why anyone in their right minds would want this sulky lazy mercenary is anyone's guess.
However, for 30 million, yes 30 fooking million, who the hell cares.
Levy and Sissoko a match made in heaven, they are welcome to him, good riddance to bad rubbish.

    From Sky Sports website

"Shortly before 7pm Everton thought they'd agreed a fee with Newcastle and terms with the player himself. But I'm hearing they then couldn't get hold of the player for a couple of hours - and that he didn't pick up Ronald Koeman's call.

"The medical room was set up, the contracts were drawn up. Then, they heard from Sissoko's representatives that he didn't want to join them. Major disappointment for Everton - but there's also the feeling they might have had a lucky escape"

If it's true, then Sissoko is an even bigger classless prick than I ever thought

Everton must be furious with both sissoko and the spuds

Shocking the way they've been treated. Left them with no time to look elsewhere

They might be furious right now, but if Spurs have bought the version of Sissoko that we've been carrying around, rather than the shop window version that appeared at the Euros, then come December they will be celebrating their lucky escape.

For me it just reinforces my opinion of him. The classic modern mercenary footballer. Very little talent, very little heart, very little application and far too much money and far too much ego.

Should add, if true, he isn't even man enough to tell Everton he preferred to sign for Spuds.

And that is why none of us will mourn his loss but instead party on into the early hours, even though it is a school night.
