Get them telt, mate IRA = leave a briefcase bomb and creep away before it goes BANG. The muzzies are showing how it should be done. Terrorism on a scale that the Fenians couldn't have dreamt of never mind have the courage and conviction to carry out.
They blew up a bin I walked past every day on the Old Brompton Road in central London when I was working there (in London, not the bin). Luckily, I wasn't actually in London at the time it went off . But I coulda been a few days earlier/later
Strange as it may seem the British have a back-handed compliment to the IRA,no bins in tube/train/bus stations so good learning curve before the Muzzies came along, just saying.
Or anywhere in Scotland. Too many tims giving them money. Av actually been in a Glaswegian pub then the tin rattlers came around making it clear it was IRA donations. I shat it and gave them a quid.
Never wanted to,Finsbury Park and Holloway was my manor.I did work with a lad from Ladbroke Grove and his parents were of the 50/60;s Jamacian generation and they split their house and charged him rent, they lived upstairs and him dowmstairs, didn't understand it then but now makes perfect sense.
My though process was this... Tims are poor and spend their money on drink rather than on their family. So, me giving more than a quid would have made them suspect me of being a Prod.
**** off, lived on Plimsoll Road and the big road down to Highbury, St Thomas Road full of old school Jamacians, big houses. Those lads had their wits about them working on the trains/tubes/buses and invested and sad to to say the Paddy pissed it away.
Finsbury has several designer coffee shops, delis and it's own theatre now. There were reports of several gunshots in Turnpike Lane the other night though. Some things never change.
N4 simple address,as SN said where's the theatre?Big Mosque top of St Thomas's road that has come in for some stick over the years.Ah the Blackstock,Finsbury Park Tavern,Plimsoll Arms to name but a few and not to forget that boozer that was in Trainspotting!BTW I know the Rainbow became a Methodist church or something, what's it now?
