Branfoot every time. A complete ****er like Pinnochio and Coolman, with the added facet of being entirely useless.

Redknapp all day long, but for useless managers out of their depth Poortvielt and Woote deserve a special mention

To be fair Poortvielt and Wotte had to make the first team out of mostly academy players as we could not afford anything else. Wotte stayed loyal to us all through administration and has to be commended for that. I wonder what he would've achieved with Markus's backing?

I felt sorry for Wotte as he stuck with us and then was binned immediately, though I believe he was given a contract so he got a payout.

I had young kids whilst Mr. Branfoot was manager and completely lost touch with the Saints. What did he do to become public enemy number 1?

Branfoot for his treatment and management of Le God. Runner up Redkrapp for getting us relegated and his skate connections.

Has to be Branfoot for me, who was despised whilst in post as well as after. Redkrapp was hated after he left but the fans still chanted his name whilst he was in post.

Branfoot was always being groomed as Lawrie Mac's replacement and even in those days there was a 'Southampton Way' that they wanted him to learn. But he got impatient and went off to work with Coppell for a while which was where he learnt and became a fan of the long ball. Of cours MLT simply did not fit into that style which is why he was so regularly benched when eventually Branfoot was offered the managers position.
