Nobody buying houses in the summer, Sweats? We spent 12 hours redecorating the living room yesterday. It was a hard slog but totally worth it. Looks like a completely different place now. We moved everything around, too so you get that giddy 'I've just bought a new house' kind of feeling. I remember it as a kid when the parents would move the sofa where the chairs used to be - it was a bloody big deal to a 7 year old! My two are busy untidying it again now like. My sister's filming come dine with me this week. It was her night on Monday & I can't get hold of her to find out how it went as they keep whisking her off to various locations for her reading of the menus. It won't be shown for6 months though,which is a bit of a bummer!
Ive sold a few had a good july, August is always quiet though as families dont bother looking.. so is a tad quiet.. I successfully made fire cooked meat and drank san miguel last night... obviously over cooked my jerk chicken.. made my own sticky marinade for the ribs which was rather good.. (awaits the comedian lex to pop in an make the obvious suggestion is was spunk) seriously bored now... is it the charity shield sunday?

Mansfield boss Paul Cox abandons Ilkeston FC 'friendly' Mansfield Town's pre-season friendly away at Ilkeston FC was abandoned by Stags boss Paul Cox after three of his players were injured during the game. Cox called the game off with 17 minutes left when John Thompson suffered facial wounds that required hospital treatment following a challenge by Gary Ricketts. The Stags had already lost Martin Riley and Ritchie Sutton to injury. Ilkeston FC chairman Dave Mantle said striker Ricketts has been suspended while an inquiry takes place. A statement from Mantle on the club website continued: "We are obviously upset about any player being seriously injured and particularly wish John Thompson a speedy recovery. "Kevin Wilson [team manager] and I have already met to discuss Gary Ricketts' part in the incidents but we need to gather more evidence and speak to the player himself before deciding our next course of action." Blue Square Bet Premier side Mansfield were leading the newly formed Ilkeston FC of Northern Premier Division One South 4-2 when the game was abandoned.

Well, I've taken the desperate and depressing measure of rocking up in a Wetherspoons to get some decent web access. They are grim places in all truth but have the bonus of good ale and today is curry club it seems so it's tea taken care of. What's been happening then? Anything of note?

I know, Sweats was telling me on FB. Trouble is I'm banned from it, which seeing as it was set up by a red on the United board and added to theirs seems a bit unfair. I will be appealing to the Liverpool mods to un-ban me then I can join in. It'll all be controlled too, no balls out aggression! It's heartwarming to know that I'm missed though!
I drove ten miles to get down here, Barnstaple. It's one of those towns where cars are frowned upon so I drove round a bit, identified the wetherspoons, found a car park and with the one pound coin change I had in my pocket paid for an hour to get a quick pint/meal/internet access. And the ****ing window lickers keep trying to engage me in conversation!! I haven't got time, sorry. Otherwise I'd love to inspect your chicken breast closer. I know, very good quality. Off to sign up for a squash league after this, otherwise I will surely go mental very quickly in this desolate land.
