Just replied to this on the Hitz thread poolie, but yep, great shout. Depor nearly went bust in January, then they got relegated, in Liga Adelante your income is next to nothing, so i reckon he'd be available at a steal if we 'paid in full'. Fast and skilful, great shot for a carney, only concern being that he is built like the infant of 2 jockeys with stunted growth...
That's my fear like. Cracking player though, but i just keep thinking Giovanni Dos Santos, same size, build, nationality, and like Guardado full of skill. Weak as a kittens piss in the Premier though.

Thing was with Luque, if he'd not got that injury early doors it may have been so different, not that that makes any difference whatsoever now like. If we could get him cheap due to the financial strife, deffo worth the punt.
Surely if he is available for a low fee as it looks likely with all the trouble Deportivo are in its worth gambling just look down the road at Bora Juninho was a midget but was briliant, if Guardado came and if at worst he flopped I am sure there would be takers for him from Spain. I think he would do good personally because of his pace.
Deffo worth a gamble mate, because if he can hack it, he'll be superb. Wouldn't have thought he'd be free realistically, but we may gt him around £5million, they were looking for £12million last summer iirc.

I think he is a little too lightweight to be honest. If I was Bruce this would be my target's. 1. Michel Bastos (Lyon) Been awesome for year's and still no massive club for him. (ok bit of a fantasy I admit). 2. Lucas Podolski (Koln) Tall, strong, rocket left foot and can also play up front if needed. 3. Simon vuckevic (Lisbon) similar to podolski and is being kept out of their team by Diego Capel, ( no shame there).
Poolie comes up with some class players now and again (except his love affair with the french winger) Just wish you'd get some info for us, on some players that most of us actually know mate. Majority of us know nowt about the players you find, and i thought i watched a lot of footy, but obviously not as much as you, Your a proper footy addict, hats off.
It's all well and good coming up with these players but if were not interested in them then this speculation is pointless. Hopefully Mr Bruce is looking at him as he would be a class buy, his crossing is decent and would probably chip in with Afew goals. Reminds me of ginola without the tricks!
