    If it is 4.5M for Ruddy, that is not enough!!

    He's English, so usually it means add a 0 to the end of any valuation. Sunderland are totally Desperate, and it would leave us with only 1 decent choice Keeper. If McGovern got Injured and we have to play Jones, then that's the end of our promotion campaign.

    It's deadline day!!! Only our club would accept big losses and undervaluation on 2 first team players on the day everyone else is having to pay stupid money to get their players.

    I only saw him briefly when we played Coventry in the pre season friendly, but he has skill and vision in abundance - something we're sadly lacking with AN's first team selection in recent weeks. Of course he'll make mistakes and have a bad game occasionally, but AN keeps playing Whittaker and Naismith .......

    Putting aside the price for a moment, Naismith going makes much more sense than Ruddy. We have more than enough quality players who can cover Naismith's position, indeed we probably have 3 that are better than him in the AM role. Whereas Ruddy is if not our first choice then definitely our second choice GK. So Naismith can go and wouldn't need replacing so any money can be used for a striker. If Ruddy is to go we will need to replace him with another GK.
