Torino apparently as that's roughly what City wanted for Hart. Similar fees are required for other players. Pretty sure Lukaku cost WBA and then Everton something similar.
If you provide proof then I will hold my hands up and say sorry but sorry there's just no ****ing way anyone would spunk 7m on a 6 month loan. Even IF hart is 7m then that's still for arguably one of the worlds top 10 keepers and for a full season. Although I highly doubt that's the case
I think this is the more likely reason if he doesn't come in. Perhaps another striker is more the priority.
You're probably right to be honest, thinking about it, for only 6-months (actually 4-months or 5-months and 2 days or whatever it works out to be) it'd be a lot less than that. Which only helps the argument that we could afford it. But yes for season long loans you do often get up towards 6/7/8m for loan fees. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...cools-7m-single-season-cost-proves-steep.html
Haven't read it but the headline says €1 million! http://app.football-italia.net/?ref...rino-%E2%82%AC1m#article/footballitalia-90660
Well there you go, the deal becomes better by the minute. And looking into it looks like they were so desperate to shift him that they've forgone a loan fee from Torino. Bony looks even more affordable!
This says they are paying £55k per week http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...aly-Torino-s-private-jet-ahead-loan-move.html
Sky are at our training ground, we've been working on deals late into the night apparently. striker a priority. expected 2-3 signings.
I'm hopeful we'll at least get 3 in. Although Sky will be at all clubs today so no real signs that them being there means anything yet...
Naa it means bugger all them being there. But im guessing Ehab or whoever will keep them updated with little bits of news, like the fact we're trying to bring a striker in for example.
Realistically, if we are in for a striker it will be to play in a front 3 with Hernandez and Snodgrass. The good thing with that is Snoddy can play on either flank, but probably best on the right cutting inside as he's left footed. Hernandez is also left footed and probably best down the middle... meaning we could be looking for a left sided, right footed striker to complete the trio.
Phelan needs options to change the system for specific games and during games. Hernandez will not play every game either due to fatigue or injuries. Assombalonga would allow us to play 2 up or replace Hernandez when injured/out of form. Gradel could be the player to partner Snoddy & Hernandez...as could Assombalonga in fairness. Gives us options though.
I also think Keane will be given the opportunity to have an impact from the bench & in cup games to see if he's up to scratch.
