No one broke their arms....only time will tell if the money they receive from the PL compensates for ticket losses.
The additional income is barely a pittance and the Premier League did not give any additional money out of the kindness of their hearts, but as nothing more than a bribe so they could get their own way, like a spoilt rich kid.
But not enough to interest Pompey supporters apparently, rather stick with the Saints Academy thread. Understandable.
Without any consultation with the fans. Wow, such a high amount. On the day when Premier League transfer spending reaches £1 billion for this window, we should all be so appreciative of the Premier League's altruism and generosity.
Not gonna rise to it Nah, I have no interest in the game. I couldn't care less what the result was. My only interest was in the attendance figures, which are disappointingly high.

You do know this is a forum for footy fans? Try not to be bitter, I'm also sceptical about the changes and have no doubt big clubs will continue to dictate how football is run in the Prem and FL. However Saints fans look back with some affection on the time spent in L1, makes the rise since much more special. Pompey will (unless sold to yet another false billionaire) progress in time if only due to their superior income, just try to enjoy it.
