Nobody wants to come to us. They either think we are hopeless, rudderless or a waste of space. We have spent a fortune on ****e for the last ten years and got rid of the ****e for a fraction we paid for them. The pot is empty. The players don't want to come. Lets face it, what we have now is what we have for the season - unless they can escape. We cant beat Boro, Hull or Torino to sign players. This is all down to Short. x
It's good for our young'uns. If our complete first team squad is about 15 and reducing then Moyes will have no option other than to bring about ten of the academy boys into the first team squad. With injuries and suspensions, our available first team players will probably amount to about 9 or 10 with some doubling in one position and nobody for other positions. This means that some of the kids are almost guaranteed long periods where they have to play for the first team. We can only hope they are not very good as if they play well we can expect them to be sold off as soon as possible. Of course, we may sign about five genuine first team players in these last few hours. If we do, we still have a chance of staying up. Moyes said just now on Look North that he hopes to get some signings in but also says that he doesn't know if he will.
It's not good for our young lads if we end up in free fall and their confidence and growth gets battered.
Don't know if there is any truth in this but heard a rumour that Paul Bracewell and David Moyes have put their playing registrations into the PL - hey don't shoot the messenger
**** you. 10 ****ing years in the prem. Mags down twice in that time. 3 ****ing games. Get a grip off ya sel. Hopefully a choke hold.
I have to agree with Comm, while on a business level it's all been complete madness what matters is results and we can't moan about the manager. We played well against City, we played well against Southampton. Boro beat us with a wonder goal and the injury to JOS. Results are what matter not the names on the team sheet. After 3 games it could be better but we're not in the bottom 3.
Yeah never judge a pizza while the transfer window's still open, that's what my grandad always used to say.
It is the sun that I think 13 premier league clubs have broke their transfer record this season !. ours is £12m on Fletcher who is now gone.
