The Tiger looks nothing like a bear! Great idea by the fans and hopefully this will be one of them things other team's fans try to emulate.
I can see the club, and the associated decision makers, quashing attempts to get this concept off the ground based on the fact that the Tiger looks like a Bear...
point taken about the style of the logo and the image it may represent to some, however, if this is perceived to be a club initiative in any way, shape or form, then it simply wont work. It needs to be borderline taboo and independent to achieve a change which in many ways bucks the 'rules' which legally guide the club's actions. Let's face it, if the club were allowed have any perceived link to this, we would have something like, say - a competition where contestants dribble a ball around a life sized 'Its a knockout' style dummy of Dean Windass before crashing a ball though a cash convertors window. Yes I know that would be ridiculous wouldnt it?????
We could always use my flag... http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2032078835326.120500.1044804976&l=7e0b493130&type=1 Got this made a couple of months back, I combined my love of Hull City with my love of Iron Maiden. Not sure if there are any other Iron maiden fans on here, but thought I'd show it off anyway.
So wheres this banner going to be? Do we just turn up see it in a reserved seating area then try and jump in there? lol Get a facebook group set up so everyone whos interested can join and get organised as wer to all meet and stand
I see Amber Nectar have posted an article to drum up an atmosphere at the oh so sterile KC Stadium: http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2011/08/introducing-the-ulltras-2/ Not wishing to take credit for this an article posted on here just after the Crystal Palace game must be creditted in sowing the seeds of this concept. For me anything that helps create an atmosphere needs support.
Ahh, bella Interista. When you're losing a champions league semi against your bitter rivals there's only way to react - chuck flares at Dida. All together now "Tutti pazzi per Materazzi".
I can confirm it was definately NOT Take That! I think I murdered something by the Bluetones from what my shattered memory recalls...
As somone's already mentioned so why the picture of the guy with the scarf? I like the idea and I think the names a good parody of said groups but the guy with scarf just suggests something completely different? Can't quite see the logic behind that one?
I have to agree with what some of the above comments say. This is a good idea in principle but the banner and name is awful IMO. It gives the exact opposite impression of what they are trying to achieve. The tiger looks stupid and God knows why they have put that thing that looks like a gang sign on there. To be honest I would be more interested in moving away from that monstrosity than standing near it. In reality these things never work for longer than 3 weeks. The novelty will wear off and the KC will be the same as always. I agree that something needs to be done but this won't work.
So again were are they all meeting? hahaha Nobodys got a facking clue! Obviously needs somebody co-ordinating it properly.
please log in to view this image I love the name. In Europe most of the big teams have an "ultras" section and the atmosphere is amazing. Been to see Hertha Berlin a few times recently and love the "passion" of the fans.
With that attitude nothing will ever work, give it some support and maybe a few others will. It might well fail but without support it's doomed, at least some people have given it a go!
