So DNA can't be planted? DNA can't be at a scene, but irrelevant to a crime?
Errors are still made all of the time. There are convictions there from the last decade.
So the conviction was an error and the decision to overturn it was, too? <laugh>
I'm glad that people have so much faith in this system!

    Only we didn't.

We just ripped into the point you made, you can't seem to understand the difference.

You tried claiming that the "The 'one death is too many' argument" against the death penalty was flawed, due to "
"a percentage of the wrongful executions were innocent of the crime, but far from innocent individuals"

Therefore "That seems to point to the general public being far more at risk of being the victim of a released prisoner, than a victim of the justice system."

All your words, and the words that prompted the responses.

So if there are 10 executions a year it will save the country £360k which is roughly £0.006 per person per year.

What will you spend your share on?

Out of those who are fine with innocent people being killed, can I ask for a volunteer to get the ball rolling?
After all, it's only one life, isn't it?

Aye, that's about the size of it.

It's not a perfect system, none are. There are 1000's dying all over the world through injustice of one form or another. I wouldn't advocate it as being compulsory in every murder or rape as, but I've no issue with it being an option available.

As an example, Huntley is a narcissistic type, who still performs when he feels the need for attention. Instead of feeding his ego and caring for him, I reckon we could make his bed available for others.

And no, it's not justice as such, it's a degree of vengeance and pragmatics.

Hindley and Brady played the system with that young lad that was still missing, getting back I to the attention they craved every ow and again. The threat of being out of the lime light if they didn't come clean on where he was, could have saved the poor lads family some torment.

You seem to have an obsession with me. It's not healthy. Try to find a useful hobby or make something of your life.

That others are dying through injustice is not a reason to introduce such deaths to our system.
    That's utterly flawed.

Ian Brady has wanted to die for years. You want to give him what he wants.
Leaving aside the fact that he's clearly utterly mental, his mere existence appears to be an ongoing punishment for him.
Studying fruitcakes like this is valuable and freeing them from punishment is not.

I know that you are displaying the classic signs of frustration which results in inadequate people needing to throw insults around.

Should Britain help tax dodging ****s and add to the **** situation that we're already in?
I can't say that I'm surprised to see the suggestion in the Fail, anyway.

I can see your argument, and accept it to a point. Keeping Brady alive against his wishes as a way of tormenting him, doesn't seem to be about justice to me, but I don't honestly have a problem with it.

Fruitcakes and psychopaths are not wired like the rest of us or from what I can tell, like each other. I'very seen a few documentaries where they're interviewed, and the shrinks reckon there's not a lot to be learned from them. Their methods and MO's seemed to be ore revealing as far as investigating new cases. The programmes I saw seemed to say the killer wasn't needed for that. They seemed to just accept prison, where they get a degree of 'respect' from fellow loons.
They're never going to be cured or released, so why let them steal oxygen?
