Idrissa Sylla, Guinean forward from Anderlecht £1.75m close to agreeing a deal with QPR. Or so it says on F-book/sky sports website. West London Sport also saying a fee of £1.5M has been agreed. Probably a million miles away.
Deal agreed for 1.75 mill, flying in to have medical today. Not overly excited by him,a 1 goal in 4 apps striker. Almost certain to be a back up striker to Polter, not a first choice starter. Time will tell, but I hoped we'd have found a better option !
Great ................ He's got a head like a smacked arrsole. The body of a tadpole. Covered in tatts ............ (must have great attitude.) And coming from Mothers-do-have-em, for pittance. Must be the buy of the century, we must be certainties to buy.
Sorry, not a chance. Remember Remy? Remember how everyone including North African monks from Siberia knew that he was going to go elsewhere with only days remaining ............. but our beloved management team, didn't. No, club policy is .................. sell the the big dollar people and replace them, if at all with, well .............. some reject from Motherwell or alike. ( see summer recruitment thread )
First of all, Anderlecht are no mugs and if they decided to sign him in the first place there is something there. They operate like Bayern Munich, only in a slightly lesser scale, by picking up the best talent in their league. He's got a reasonable return with almost one goal in three games. Looks lively and a good header of the ball. Regarding Anderlecht being no mugs, that can go both ways for us, there might also be a reason why they let him go. Hopefully now as we've opened up the comunicating channels with them we could go for Dennis Praet, now that would be some signing. Anyway, with players moving leagues and countries it WILL take time for them to settle. So as long as we're prepared to give players time we stand a better chance of getting a return on our investments. Same applies for Ngbakoto, see people are eager to write him off already. Don't think we'll see the best of them before next season, but if we can keep this squad together and build on it further I believe we'll be force next season.
Now this is just something that appeared on facebook...and if true...I am happy for Jimmy Floyd to have my babies...or something like that From Facebook:- "My mates sister(works for an agent) sat in on the meeting with Bentner, Jimmy, Les and co last week. Bentner tried to sell himself to no avail apparently. Jimmy sat in silence and then uttered the phrase 'you are a cock' to Bentner. Look on everyone's faces was a picture! He explained afterwards he's spent the last year ridding QPR of egos so basically wasn't interested."
