    Pooch thinks that too <laugh>

  2. Without wanting to put words in his mouth, I think that what Poch was trying to say is that 'Pool don't play the kind of total football that we do. That 'Pool play the kind of spoiling football that Wimbledon used to play, but without as much thuggery.

Wouldn't you if your brand of 'total football only yielded a goal a game? <laugh>

They've been found out. Once Poch's systems get sussed Spuds become fairly easy to play against.

They should've dumped him for Koeman in the summer. Fancy Everton to take their place as challengers for top 6.

Btw ever since Chelsea gave Spurs that meltdown last season, it seems Spurs, Poch and their fans have become very sensitive about tougher oppositions. Stop crying and blaming others for your failures!!

I have found this new-found football snobbery from the Spurs fans quite amusing.

I think they've spent too much time idolising their neighbours in red.

I have noticed the same thing.
They kinda lost their **** in that match and don't seem to have yet regained it :)
They got tonked at home by Southampton after it, then got hammered by an already relegated pile of ****, Newcastle team.
Only win they have managed since then was scraping a 1-0 against Pardews Palace (Ill get it right in the end)

I do think they look broken Bod. Or at the very least void of ideas.

    Nah, wrong.

Klopp played us at our own game, and for an hour, it worked. But then they ran out of steam and we actually could have won it in that last half hour.

Knowing what a team is going to do is one thing, and Spurs' way of playing has been pretty apparent for some time now to anybody with a tenth of a football brain. Stopping them doing it is another thing, however.

It's not snobbery its standards...you can't think like that even with a PL title under your belt because you know you will never become a pain in the arse for the top 4 season in season out.

It shocks me that any fan vilifies a club who aspires every season to get into the top 4. We have certain standards. I would rather be knocking on that door every season than having a one off then going back to being pleased with mid table finishes in the league, at best.

It's not new found...we have always had aspirations.

Plus you probably feel as though we are similar sized clubs and you have accepted your place in the long term as a lower half team. Your thinking how dare anyone else aspire to more.

We have been toe to toe with the big clubs...we are big enough to achieve that again...you are just witnessing the part where we are trying. You don't like that...and this bile coming out of you and yours is exactly why no Spurs fan has been butt licking Leicester's one off achievement last season, because we know that's how you really feel.

    So bollocks to you mate.

You might be wandering in to HIAG territory here Spurlock.
If Leicester finish higher than Spurs again, you may look silly :p

I guess I am just curious as to why its Spurs fans especially who have this problem with Leicester, and not say, Chelsea, whose title was usurped by Leicester, or Man United who used to be top of the pile and were edged out, or Arsenal, as Leicester were the only team to finish above them last season.

There just seems no reason for Spurs to be like this, and I don't buy this rivalry bollocks, because for two weeks last season it looked like you had an outside chance of catching them up, you can be total dicks?

  20. Without wanting to wum, Bodi, I think I can answer that. I think it's because most of us thought that Chelsea fluked the title, too, so few of us actually see you as deserving of the title. So, yes, Leicester did usurp your title in the strict sense, but it wasn't exactly as if you really ever had the chance of winning it again. I think you Chavs know and understand that, which is why you cannot really get the hump with Leicester.

    Am I right?
