Oliveira to cost circa £6m including add-ons.
Which looking at what the club shelled out for Naismith, who Liverpool game aside, has still hardly got out of fist gear, it's a bloody steal - a steal, I tell you!
I suppose at least Naismith has taken a lot of the heat of RvW as the biggest waste of hard-earned cash in the club's history <yikes>

Such a relief we are actually going to get a striker. I don't know how much truth is in Okaka and Valencia. I'd love either of them. I don't believe we'd sign all 3.

If it's one more out of the 2, I don't know who I'd want. Both very different players, but both would be a class signing in their own way. Although I love the way Valencia plays, you could say he has played wide, so could say he's up against the Murphys and Canos. Where as Okaka is a powerhouse striker, so instinct feels like Okaka would be the way to go.

When you google him, all the top stories are him to Villa. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Yes, I do wonder if we'd had a different manager at the time we signed RvW if things would have worked out differently. Also, he got injured quite early on and never really recovered.
Looking forward to seeing who else AN can persuade to join us in the next 113 hours!!!

From today's EDP website on the EFL Cup game - “It was good for the players and great for the squad,” he said. “The younger ones who came in did themselves justice and shown they are capable, albeit opposition from a different league. Jacob has done it in the first team in the league, with the opportunities he has had so far, and there is no reason Josh, Sergi Canos and James Maddison can’t take the next step.”
I'm coming back to believing that AN might be about to select some of the youngsters for some of our forthcoming games!!! <ok>

Have we signed a striker yet?

Bah!
Patience, Melchissimo. We can't just rush in headlong and buy any old striker, you know.
These things require meticulous planning and scrupulous attention to detail <ok> ;)

On the subject of which, just what the hell is Jez Moxey up to?
There were interviews on the day he arrived - which was precisely a month ago today - and not a solitary squeak out of him since?
Do you think he's still at NCFC or was it a 'mutual agreement' jobby? :emoticon-0112-wonde

Stefano Okaka has cleared his locker at Anderlect in preparation for a move to England. Us or Villa (why them every time?) his expected destination. Scored 17 goals last season but has fallen out with new manager, which could be a little worrying.

I know its sunday but it is very concerning that nothing has been announced today/ no new rumours have been mentioned :-/ we need TWO strikers and havent signed one!! Fingers xd for two announcements tomorrow!

Wow, surprised by that. He's a great player for this division and a massive loss to Ipswich. That was done pretty quickly. Has a price been mentioned? I thought Ipswich would have put up a fight.

In terms of Newcastle. He's another player they have bought to boss this league. They will walk it. I don't see many of these signings of ones to crack the Premiership.

I saw a figure of around £3M mentioned, but 'undisclosed'!!
