Hell no. I wont attend any games in this competition, not even if we get to Wembley. Boycott should be a full boycott. Just my opinion though.
I'm not doing a thread for the game either nor am I looking out for the result shame really as we have no game next Saturday either.
I dont blame you. I wont be listening as not interested. But I will check for the full time score and to see what was the attendance for the attendance and 1st goal time prediction thread I guess will fill in the spare time by doing early xmas shopping then
If it were City playing a B team I would not go on principle I cant believe the EFL went down this route
Gashead79 hope your not to lonely when you go to the Reading match In the Daily Telegraph they were on about Rangers And Celtic joining division 5 next season, so it looks like they are going to bulldoze that through, 3 home games less how is that supposed to improve the finances of the lower league clubs so I guess that this new format cup competition is here to stay whether we want to support it or not, it will also give less value on our season tickets unless they make the Mickey Mouse cup competition part of the package
Like reserve matches this should be played during the day that would stop people from going then it has all the value and importance of such a game.
Apparently 500 tickets have been purchased in advance for the Reading game. There will also bound to be a few pay on the day as well.
Just over half agreed but a lot have since come out saying if they knew the big clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool and the Manchester clubs would pull out and would end up against some championship clubs reserves then they wouldnt have agreed. They are pretty angry that their vote was based on being told these big clubs would be taking part and the football league doing this vote at the AGM without actually getting actual confirmation from the big clubs if they were taking part. If the teams taking part now were made clear at the beginning then no way would this be happening now. The football league should have scrapped the idea as soon as the big clubs said no. But they have their own agenda to get B teams in our leagues too. They havent commented about all the proposed boycotts. They havent replied to anything. They just aint listening.
The trophy's sponsor 'Checkatrade' have given their opinions on this on twitter and got owned by football fans.... Thought I would share this....
