Foinaven was a no hoper who won the Grand National when all the horses ahead of him fell in one massive accident. He was too far back to be involved.
He has a small cut to the left ankle and has been escorted to a nearby hospital for further routine checks. [...]
I agree I'm a big Hamilton fan but you're right by his standards he hasn't been that great today. Due to other factors he would have been a lot closer to Rosberg had he been at his best!
200mph at the top of Eau Rouge with barely any scrubbing of speed before the hit. A wee cut on the ankle is a blessed relief.
Yeah he has definitely, of course a lot easier when you're out on your own. I was just agreeing really that he hasn't really been at his best today and has had a result really due to other circumstances.
Actually, I'll go further - considering he basically re-started the race in fifth on new boots, used all the FP sessions to set up his car for the race, Hamilton has actually been a bit crap to only come in a distant third. Not like him.
When you look at something and think "this is going to be the worst thing in the world", but then you watch it and it's actually the best thing in the world.
