Yes, I'm a little disappointed they've not made a film of that before Inferno, but then they did that with Da Vinci Code before Angele and Demons. Still time.
I've read a few Dan Brown books and really like them though haven't seen the films. I preferred Angels & Demons to the Da Vinci code. There was 2 others I read but can't remember the name that were great too. Can anyone help? One was about the NSA and their decoding machine and the other was about a false discovery of et life at the north pole?
And I was one in Cardiff in the 70s. Oh the days of going to watch rugby at the Arms Park when the Welsh had their greatest ever team (in my opinion). Even got to Ninian Park to see a home international against "the old enemy" ( England won comfortably from memory) Lovely place, (mostly) great people (like all nationalities there are some too much up their own arse to be polite), but got a bit fed up with being rained on 340 days a year ......
Oh, I thought it just rained on me. You could see the clouds gathering as you started across the Severn Bridge. Ireland is just the same....if you want the green, you have to have rain.
What an eventful start the grand prix. 5 drivers out already including Magnussen who was in a horrific crash. Good to see him out of the car n walking away though. Alonso & Hamilton also up to 4th & 5th already. Game on here once safety car goes back in
Yeah, he and Fernando have got dead jammy here. Also helped by the Ferrari and Red Bull drivers seemingly intent on taking one another out. Basically gets to re-start the race in fifth with a load of slower cars ahead of him.
Be interesting to see a race between F1 drivers where they all drove the same model of car....would really find out who is the best driver. Could make it really interesting with hazards such as zebra crossings appear, bike pulls out of side road, learner driver stalls, pensioner on zimmer frame drops purse in middle of road. I might watch then.
They used to do that in the late 70s/early 80s - the drivers had a race in BMW M1 cars prior to the Grand Prix - was great!
Odd race this - Hamilton up to third, from 21st but I actually don't think he's driven particularly well today (by his standards). He's just not got caught up in the nonsense.
Very sadly it is not good news for Kevin Magnussen. He is on his way to hospital. The injury to his left ankle is clearly serious. His team will have to start thinking about the Italian Grand Prix. Who is going to be driving for them? Can Magnussen recover in time or will they have to bring someone else in?
I think after that crash, it's actually good news! Not sure if the ankle injury is serious or not yet. Could just be some bruising.
I take your point , but was hoping he could be released from the medical centre . Just shows how strong cars are these days !
