My choice would be Mannone, he seems to spread confidence amongst our defenders and he is a class act in the making.
if you asked me this in november I would have said Ayala but at the minute I would say either Mannone or Guzan they've both shown they're good between the sticks

Gerrard is the one I would want. I like his calmness, consistency and the way he sticks up for himself against some of the robust forwards you get in the championship. I also think we are more likely to get him than Mannone!
Mannone without doubt but would hope we try and sign all the loanees as they are all worthy of wearing the Tigers shirt
Gerrard because we need a new captain. If it was me i'd buy him now, if not then we might struggle without a proper captain till the end of the season. Dawson is not captain material.
Mannone - a slight guilty pleasure really as i think Gerrard would be more crucial in the here n now , but Mannone being a keeper would be the hardest to replace .
Mannone ahead of Guzan anyday, simply because of Vito's quickness off his line, whether it be for a through ball or a cross. With Guzan, I'm forever shouting 'KEEPER!!' (I'm a keeper so it frustrates me when he doesn't rush out)
Ah so you're why Dawson keeps leaving the ball for the right winger/full back to get on the end of crosses. There's me been blaming Dawson and it turns out you just keep making him think the keeper is coming for it.
mannone but gerrard is a close second, think our play has lacked since guzan has come in, good keeper but mannones distribution is top.
So to sum up if City sign Mannone AND Gerrard this season we'll be happy campers? On other boards there's conspiracy theories flying around regarding Zayatte, Bullard & Ash being moved on cos we're sill in financial trouble! load of bollox if you ask me, it's just sound financial accounting by Pearson.
