I'm sure you can find a way to make your point without that happening. More worryingly, I might get chucked out the ground if I hear anyone within a few yards of me booing. They don't though. I'd have to run across at least half a dozen rows and that would look silly.
The booing was pathetic. Little value trying to get a point across. The wave of arousement from our failings is unbearable.
It'll all be forgotten after we win at The Emirates. A friend described the atmosphere in there so far this season as "toxic". So it's not just our fans who suffer from a deluded sense of entitlement. Perhaps we can take advantage of the fact Arsenal are currently at their best away from their own spoilt fans.
Does footballorgin.net have something against us? I haven't seen any of our recent games posted. Now that there's no way for me to legally watch games online I was hoping to catch up on their site but no dice. Or are they not beothering because we are that bad?
Good choice. The pundits spoke about the Sunderland keeper and then where Joe Hart should go. That was it.
I don't watch match of the day anymore. I watched our game and have drawn my own conclusions. I don't need a know it all player who would never make it as a manager pretending to talk authoritatively about the game when all they do is regurgitate there own bigotry and prejudices.
Guys we have to bear in mind what has happened to the team over the last 3/4 months. We have lost 2/3 key players and a manager. To add insult to injury we have not replaced like for like players or manager. What players we have bought have yet to be bedded in. The new manager has insisted on the players playing a new system. In Pre season we played mostly lesser teams to get used to the new system so if you made mistakes it would not be so costly. Using the new system in The premier was always going to be a different kettle of fish. The EPL consists of mainly international players (or at least a majority) in which any mistake is usually punished and punished severely. We can argue as to the validity of the new system. However we have only played 3 games in the premier using it. Against Watford we didn't get it right but we did improve the next game against UTD although we lost. However we shouldn't have just got a draw this week against Sunderland. Too many mistakes were made. It strikes me the system is ok against teams that play to win, rather than those that play not to lose. Yet we had chances but didn't take them. Same with all three matches perhaps. So maybe it isn't necessary the system maybe it could be we haven't got the right players for the system. I E players that put away half chances etc. Two things stand out for me, our scoring ratio against our possession and shots on target. The other worrying thing is we have had 3 games and given away 2 penalties. Both of which has cost us dearly. Puel has a good reputation but he gained it over time not over night...... even when we start bagging the points there are those that will insist we can do better with another system. Give the manager a chance guys after all he is staking his future on his decisions..............
This is a postive sign. Tom is so concerned by the minimal performance gains the team has shown that he is getting in his "I told you so" early, because deep down he knows Puel is walking away with the September manager of the month award
Booing 3 games into the season is a ****kng embarrasment. Hardly suprising though, a big part of our fanbase seem to have an arrogance about them similar to what (probably same people) they accuse big clubs fans of.
This new dissent (application of the) rule will actually help show up bad refs IMO, by compounding bad decisions with yellow cards and helping make them worse/getting them on MOTD.
Just seen someething on Twitter. Just a little tweak to the diamond perhaps. -----------Forster------------- Cedric Fonte VVD Targett -----Romeu---Hojberg------ ------------Davis--------------- -----Tadic----Redmond---- -----------Austin-------------
We had a supporter trying to get into the dug out to have a go at David Moyes, in our second game of the season. Every club has their idiots.
Reminds me of our first season in League 1 when Norwich fans went on to the pitch and threw their season tickets at the dugout after an opening day thrashing from Colchester. They went on to win the league. I never found out if they got them back but I hope they didn't.
Didn't Norwich appoint the Colchester manager on the back of that one result? I'm sure they got promoted that season, as well. Fans are fickle as anything these days.
