Relatively low level infiltration today. Disappointing breakdown in law enforcement when they scored. Still I expect Humberside Police have already passed the images to their Met counterparts and dawn raids will follow.
Another untruth from the great moderator - what I saw in the ground yesterday was a host of Hull City fans all getting behind their team. Shame the "boycotters" missed it - my heart bleeds for them!!
Your rent boy idol has finally been driven out of the club he was ruining. Rejoice you sad turd, and let's welcome back the missing thousands.
Not sure where you were looking then I'm sure there were lots of Man U fans in North Stand I missed it but apparently there was a muted cheer behind us when they scored, and there was an awful lot of people in front of us studiously avoiding getting excited about the game at all (but looking much happier when they did score)
Far too much celebrating around me when Man United scored, not something I want to see in the home seats, fortunately one was ejected (pushed a steward down the stairs, hopefully he got a kicking on the way out).
Lot of coppers from Durham there yesterday (why?) In E4 there was some grinning Manchester **** who had been put in one of the disabled viewing platforms as the crowd were getting at him. The crowd continued to try and get him with his Red adidas cap on. Send in more stewards and more coppers (about 12 in total) to stop the trouble. People yelling 'Get him out' but the daft coppers put him there for his own protection, not realising it was like a red rag(arf) to a bull. It seems the police have no idea about football crowds, which is worrying. Their logic is 'He should be able to watch where he wants without getting attacked'. They also justified their (in)action about pitch invaders with 'There's too many of them'. So is there a law or isn't there?
The West Upper was full of Man United fans, anyone who thinks that's a good thing and gloats about it not being full of City fans is a piss-poor excuse for a fan.
We take it for granted that police at football know the rules, but many don't. They have no idea about home fans and away fans, or the bad feeling when fans are in the wrong section. They see it as intolerant yobs bullying poor visitors who have somehow ended up in the wrong seat, and E4 has the same type of fans as W6.
Spot on But they should be ejected from W6 too In fact it's a perfect situation. The club get the ticket money and then get to kick them out before kick off The law should also be changed to include people who wear half and half scarves too
There was no security checks and far too many manc throughout home stands. There should be zero tolerance for away support in home area's.
I am critical of the policing at the KC but fans being in home areas is not a criminal offence but ground regulations. It is up to the stewards to enforce the regulations. The police will step in if in enforcing the regulations the stewards are attacked or threatened. Why our stewards enforce every pettifogging rule and regulation with home fans but ignore the away fans in home areas one is the question. Is it because they are spineless or because the SMC has told them to ignore it? As for fans going on the pitch, Humberside plod would have spent weeks poring over videos and seeking banning orders to justify their unnecessary numbers if the fans had been City ones but the odds are Manchester police will decide there are more pressing matters for them to deal with if they are asked to deal with it.
