No he's been around for a while, played in the play-offs and several cup games last year and has really come on leaps and bounds, before that he had a bad reputation amongst most City fans as maybe a bit nervous and error prone
Still sad nonetheless though,I'm a footy fan pure and simple and these players have or had talent beyond words, anybody who has played the game knows what I mean and it such a shame to see them so messed up
2 world class and a few more very good saves today, he was excellent. You were very good to be fair looked good at the back, United probably deserved it, well they did, but it was a great performance I thought, Phelan long been rated as a coach the United players loved him, he's got you fighting. I will say I needed the goal for a 4 figure win on a 9-fold so I was delighted when it went in, not to mention the fact that your a team we need to not be over performing, but there's enough there to say you can do ok. Robertson and Snodgrass are smashing players.
Sadly in my experience it doesn't though. The drug, be it alcohol , tobbaco or cocaine etc. Is such a comforting feeling that people still take it because even in the face of death it makes them feel better.
Well done on the win, we all love Robbo and Snodders too, Snodders not badly injured either which is a relief as was out for ages with a career-threatening knee injury
Yep, though slightly ironic posting this at 11.30 on a Saturday night.. only had a few myself of course but no doubt a few happy Harry regulars will turn up in a bit like City Man
Aye I fancied us signing Snodgrass when you did but the fee was a bit rich I thought, he can make things happen though very good player, one of my best pals is Leeds so if seen a lot of him and knew he was decent even before he went Norwich. There's 11 teams for me that could go so we all have a shot, a good start could be massive for you, not a soul had you on 6 points.
City Man adds 0% to this forum. I put him on Ignore 3 months ago. He just talked nonsense and clogged up every thread. I must say its a lot better not reading his bitter diatribe.
Its a really interesting thing 7 actually. Theres a guy called Anthony Robbins big motivational speaker and he puts this syndrome down to Pleasure and pain.. the pain is knowing what its doing to you, whether as you say its drink, drugs, cigarettes or stuffing your face with chocolate and getting fat, over the pleasure that doing all this things gives you. Mental battle of wills. Some beat it, some don't.
Disappointed by the last minute goal, ultimately our season isn't going to be decided by games against Man Utd etc, the next game at Burnley is far more important. The only thing that bugged me was taking off Abel for Harry. I know why he did it, but we have strikers on the bench, even if they are kids, just use them or take only 3 players to the bench!
Am close to the same, can only read the same old ****e so many times, already crossed Hat off my list. Only 2 posters I don't read so don't feel too bad about it really but they all contribute zero and waste space, City Man 1979 is on borrowed time
You know mate was offering about £480 cash out on 70 mins and I was brave, it had gone off by time goal went in but last offer was about £90. £1300 plus it was and I've had a few small ones as well, I said this morning I wasn't having a bet cos I couldn't see owt, but there was £18 in my sky bet I didn't know about so I went daft. The highlights were Bournemouth x, Morecambe and Dijon who were all big prices, Morecambe were 2 down after 10 mins or some ****, Lyon were winning with 20 left. Luck was in, no doubt.
I thought he was going up front so was a little bit disappointed, was the closest we've had to a Steve Bruce moment so far this season but in fairness it would have worked but for Elmo losing a slight bit of focus
