Spurs 0 v 1 'Pool (Half Time) 'Pool doing well to suppress the genius of Spurs' play, and then getting lucky with a very soft penalty. Looks like Sky has put pressure on refs to help 'Pool as much as possible, this season. Still, can't take it away from 'Pool, as they have the lead at half-time. Poch is going to have to use all of his powers to rally the lads for the second half, and pull this tie around.
We were unlucky not to get 3 points as we were there better team but I'll take a point away at Spurs.
Spurs not firing on all cylinders, yet. Like last weekend, we were loose and disjointed in midfield and couldn't create enough chances for our forwards. I think we're missing Dembele, but I expect us to improve massively as the season progresses. We haven't lost yet, which is a good sign. As for 'Pool, I think they can improve, too, this season, so it's going to be interesting to see how things pan out between our two sides. I think we can both finish ahead of Arsenal.
He said 'he thinks they can' which is different to 'they will'. The former leaves room for change. The latter is a definite. E.g I think Harry Kane can be a 3 season wonder....which suggests that he can, but he may not. This is very different to 'Harry Kane will be a 3 season wonder'...which suggests that he is most definitely going to be a 3 season wonder. #unbookmarked.
You're walking into another **** up mate. I have simply bookmarked your comment that you 'think we can both finish ahead of Arsenal'. I haven't offered an opinion on that prediction yet, I will simply let it fester in your mind for a while
I'll watch the game on MOTD later, but from the updates I was reading on my phone, it sounded like Liverpool could have quite easily have been 2 or 3 up by HT
Luckily for us, our defenders and keeper remembered not to let them score 4 goals in 18 mins...tends to make things a little difficult when they do things like that.
You say dismal I say hysterical....lets call the whole thing off Vorm played well but I don't think good keeping is lucky ... how ever we could easily have lost so a point today was a positive. We ain't really hit the ground running (a bit like yourselves) but need to pick up points as Chelsea, United and City have!
