My young lad was there today, so I'll wait to hear what he thought of the game(if he remembers) I listened to the match on a link. At times it sounded like florest were there for the taking, but we were undone again in defence. I haven't seen the highlights yet. Florist's defence sounded dodgy though as well. Move on to the next game...
when you said you got green from QPR because they couldn't afford to keep him you can now see what they meant very costly mukka
Bad defending first 2 and 3rd keepers fault for sure, had lots of chances looking at highlights and stats but can't defend like that and expect to get a result.
Don't think I entirely agree with you, although he most certainly doesn't cover himself in glory. 1st: Ayling 100%. His man scored. Possible mitigation possible if someone was on the back post to come out for it, but Monk doesn't have the posts covered. There's an old adage that any high ball in the 6 yard box is the 'keepers. Sadly, Green was having his afternoon nap. It's an age thing. Would Silvestri have punched it clear? I think probably yes. 2nd: Cooper 100%. His man scored. Possible mitigation possible if someone was on the back post to come out for it, but Monk doesn't have the posts covered. There's an old adage that any high ball in the 6 yard box is the 'keepers. I think probably yes. 3rd: Ayling & Cooper should have stopped the scorer getting anywhere near the goal, but failed miserably. He should have been in the stand somewhere. Despite this, Green should never have let that in. Awful 'keeping. Anyone spot the similarities? Betcha Green retains his place & Cooper gets dropped. Monk can't drop his own players, can he?
the 3 realists we were also the only 3 who had Forest to win everybody else thought that because you beat Luton you had turned into Lazio
Well championship and league cup, think you will find a price for both of them. Can't find any odds for Millwall, why's that then ?
After a glimmer of hope we had turned a corner we once again concede three goals and get walloped. I wished we were wrong. I just figured if Forest had scored 8 in their previous two home games they were going to get a few against us. Sadly at the moment nothing has changed from last season, we come out and get a great result and a clean sheet, a week later you wonder if you are watching the same team.
