I thought we were excellent. We rode our luck a little bit this was arguably their most heroic so far. We'd have snapped 6 points out of anybody's hands if offered before the season. This group of players are a bit special.
Another magnificent defensive performance against a very talented (and expensive) team. If Curtis doesnt win a fully deserved England cap after shutting out Ibramovic Sam has some explaining to do. Even Mourinho was full of praise for the Mighty Tigers today. We all should be very very proud of this group of lads who yet again gave their all and were unlucky not to hang on for a point. The Yak and Jake were again outstanding and Clucas was brilliant at both ends. If we can bring in that lad Markus Henriksen from Alkmaar before the window closes and a decent striker, and with Marshall backing up Jakupovich, we should be very competitive. Just hope Snodds injury is not serious and he'll be fit again after the break. I'm really enjoying this season. The squad are together as a unit, Phelan is a breath of fresh air, and the new owners could remove the sour taste of the Allams. The best of times to be a Hull City supporter. Happy days ahead!!
That was good, simply that. They survived on bottle and determination, they lacked a bit of quality on the break, but the conditions were atrocious, so bottle and determination were exactly what was needed. Jak was simply excellent, good saves, confident command of his area, but when he came out and took that catch - no continental punching - in very poor conditions, it simply superb; it looked simple but it was a huge measure of his renewed confidence. I've always liked him and thought him hard done by, but this guy is making us all rethink.
Fellaini is a ****ing despicable twat. Numerous occaissions he was swinging the elbows - he's going to do someone some serious damage the ****ing twat.
We need more than an attacking mid, striker and keeper CANADATIGER.. On top of what you said, we need a fullback or 2, a central midfielder and a couple of wingers..
