I doubt we'll have any games this season more difficult than that, and I suspect that was also their hardest game of the season, and they won't have many more like that one either. That really is an impressive Man U team, from the front to the back (apart from that **** Fellaini), so our players can absolutely hold their heads high and with pride.

Questions over Phelans ability to take over there. Ok it was against one of the biggest clubs in the world but we looked hopeless. Playing for a 0-0, bringing off our only attacking outlet for a defender, it was purely one way traffic from that point. Two scrappy results are influencing opinion, but for those who watch with their eyes open the signs are alarmingly bright. Phelan looks a proper know nowt **** with strange and clueless subs, no plan b after dropping behind and tactically naive.

Well done you lot, that was as good an example of defending with heart as you could wish to see. I said earlier that I would like us to win but only a low score but **** me I really thought you might nick it on the break with 10mins to go. It just seemed there was no way past you, I think and hope that you should be safe this season, with commitment like that (and no shortage of class players) you deserve it.
I'm so proud of the effort and commitment to the shirt that those lads put in today .. Phelan has got them playing for him for sure and he's right they need to feel the hurt and learn from it .. get him made permanent, get some players in, then let's crack on .. after all the lows since promotion Phelan and the lads have given us something to believe in
