Well, final 5 mins of the 1st half were quite exciting.

I then nodded off.

Woke up 5 mins before the end.

Seemed a bit frantic. Lots of comments about playing in "this weather", which I take means they're not used to playing in the heat down south, cos obviously it's always hot down there.

Well done FC. I'm sure it means sommat to the chubbers that seem to like the game.

 

How anyone can't just be pleased for that Hull success is beyond me; it's great for the city, it's great for sports in Hull and it's a huge credit to Adam Pearson, as the owner.

Smith, the losing manager, just interviewed with utter dignity and credit; he epitomised true sporting belief and honesty.

I turned it off as someone was informing the viewing public that Hull is a Rugby City, that all the kids in Hull want to play RL, that RL is in the blood of every person in Hull.

I mean, cmon ffs.

 

The Hull fans are an unattractive lot, aren't they? Warrington lasses were superior. Lasses at rugby union games are more attractive than both.
In fairness, at the Euros the lasses from other countries were far more attractive than ours.

Perhaps by that he means the majority of locals support either hull fc or rovers and have done all their lives and are brought up supporting one or the other.

Pre 2008, most football shirts seen around Hull were those of Leeds, Liverpool and Man Utd.

Still don't get why some City fans are so snarky about the rugby......

 

Just an observation if you had read to the end you would have noticed .I said the same about our football fans compared to their European counterparts. Perhaps the post was a bit long for you to get that far.
