Good to have rescued a point and had a chance to win it. A major problem that rescuing a point at home to relegation-favourite Sunderland is a positive, just as rescuing a point against Watford was. Arsenal away next; we need to get much, much better and soon.
Well that was pretty poor, but as I said, I just think a quick system change and we'll be fine, much like the kickstart that Koeman did/lucked into last year. Delighted for Jay.
Two points from home games against Watford and Sunderland, I guess we'll be looking for a big 2-0 win at Arsenal then?
Things can only get better. Don't sendJay on loan to get games, play him for us. Nobody is doing any better.
Slow start to the season. Not the end of the world, but Claude does need to have a serious look at the system though.
Strange performance. 20 good minutes followed by 65 very poor minutes followed by 5 very good minutes (probably because they panicked a bit).
A valuable draw....not for the point gained, but because it prevented another loss just before the international break. Remember Watford and Sunderland were our hoped-for bankers as we have some tough away games. We had the possession and chances, but as we all knew, our finishing was going to be the problem. Onwards and upwards.
