Kirchoff and Catts would have made a big difference not to mention the signings that are expected to come. Today was far from what our strongest lineups going to be the remainder of the season. If it was our strongest lineup a draw away to Southamptons nowt to be ashamed of.
The negativity on this board is seriously pishing me off. I think a long break from it is on the cards for me.

A positive note is,we are now higher in the league than we were for the whole of last season, onwards and upwards.

stay on mate, i feel the same at times, but we need the glass half-fullers to help keep the board ticking over in a more positive light. I know its SAFC but ....... there are reasons to be cheerful. most things we can do nowt about anyway.
Ive slagged our lack of transfer activity off as much as anyone mate its the worst pre season ive known. Its when people start slagging us off for no valid reason on matchday that pishes me off. Boro is the only bad result weve had so far and we had a load of players missing. A draw today was a decent result and City away was a losing battle. Considering the players were missing its not too bad.
Thats the spirit, this was a great result under the circumstances, that's two in a row were the Saints have got out of jail against us down there, but this is feel good result from any angle. Keep this back five together and we will be fine once we get midfield sorted, onwards and upwards.
Kirchoff sat infront of our defence will solidify us massively as would Catts. Rodwells absolute dogshyte but were nowhere near having our strongest 11 yet. We should feel more optimism than negativity. This time last year we knew our team probably couldnt get much stronger, this year we know it will.
