    Liverpool fan in peace.

I've been following a thread on our board about the possible move of Enrique to us. The general attitude to the player joining us is very positive. We'll just have to wait to see how things pan-out.

What I wanted to ask is why do you appear to be selling all of your best players? When we bought Carroll, I thought you were promised that the money would be spent on new players. However there seems to be very little signs of it so far. it does not make sense to me - but then I don't really know all of the internal dynamics.

I'm really not having a go. Let's face it we do know all about promises for which no funds were really available. H&G had us within a whisper of an even worse fate than administration. So can some of you fill in some of the gaps for me?

Something not right, club seem to lack ambition which has upset Barton and Enrique. Something is clearly not right.

Well apparently the money has been spent on agent fees and undersoil heating. I feel some of the money has been paid to golfers, i.e Clarke. Still a few weeks left in the window so who knows but not anticipating much tbh.

From what i gather Mike Ashley is a twat.

Such a shame to be honest. My Mrs is a Geordie and i've seen them play a fair few times, very enjoyable i must admit.

It's a shame, because I can't see too many of the 4-4 Newcastle v Arsenal games coming up if all your best players are being sold.

We know what it is to be lied to and the effect that has throughout the club. Newcastle fans have a right to demand some answers. So, I suppose I'm not only trying to understand but also to show some solidarity.

Very true. I feel for them to be honest.

Hopefully something will be sorted out sooner rather than later <ok>

Am not really bothered about other clubs really but do think the prems a better place when a trip to toon town is on the cards...Mike Ashleys just another mockney wide boy from what I can tell so hate to think of any twat like that bleeding a football club dry.

Good luck for this year but hope you know when we play you that Big Andy's gonna paint the toon red <ok>

Alway liked the city and most of their fans, you can't not have sympathy for them.

This is a shame, I've always liked Newcastle, I remember how good the fans were after the two 4-3 games in the late 90's. Six months ago I thought Newcastle would be safe in the mid to top half of the table this season, but if Barton and Enrique go, i'll worry about.

On the positive side, Ba ould turn out to be agood signing as long as his knee does not explode, and hopefully Ben Arthur will be back quickly and Gutierrezwill have another good season - Barton Might yet see out the 1 year he has left then I reckon you will be ok.

    Good luck for next season.

(P.S. love the idea of an English Ben "Arthur")

No worries, appreciate the support of a non-Newcastle fan, the media will do their best to turn people against us.

Ignore the media hacks. They're self serving idiots trying to justify their existence. Good luck

I think we'll do enough to stay up. Its not exciting, or a particularly progressive ambition but its about the best we can expect for now with our resources. Clubs massively in debt and he is selling off our best players to get the high earners off the wage and recoup some funds. Obviously as fans we see nothing but risk as without investment you stagnate or worse. Its tough going for our fans at present but we've come to realise there is nothing we can do about it. No point in protests and so on because he's got skin like a rhino, so all it does is make the players job that bit harder. Sounds a bit defeatist I know but he really does have us by the balls. Barring some mental billionnaire making a ridiculous offer for the club, he is going to run us like any other business. I believe he is slowly preparing for sale, i.e. get debts down to make us a more attractive propostion. In the meantime we just have to suffer, but try and keep the club in the division by helping the players.
