our tackling has been woeful at least 3 times we've had a Spurs player surrounded and the spud has come away with the ball!
we need to get stuck in more!

 

Defence looked despite being pulled apart at times. If anything, our attack looked a bit limp today. Should have scored at least three with the chances we got.

 

Coutinho really missed 2 sitters. One was the miss of the season: open goal in front of him.

If we had scored 2 or 3 in the first half, which we should have, game over!!

 

Overall i think we played reasonably well but were let down by a lack of precision when it mattered exemplified with that break in extra time where 2 passes in a row were not quite right and the chance to score disappeared
2 points lost rather than a point gained

 

we tired in the second half , didn't press as much.

Should have won that, we were the better team by far. Mane clearly the best player and Matip looked good too

 

Should have put that game to bed in the first half. Teams know the way we play the entire team is knackered in the last 15 minutes of a game. Sturridge should have come on for Firminho, the latter is fast becoming Klopp's lovechild.

 

Frustrating, but it's a point away at WHL

 

Both Full Backs at fault for equaliser..keeper maybe should have closed the angle at his near post more but I'm not blaming him for this one. The caveat on Milner is he's not a left back.

Not enough creativity or calmness on the ball in the last 30 minutes...especially after they scored....mentality as usual.

When our full backs got pushed back in second half our forward line ran out of ideas.

Origi actually looked really slow when he came on. Added nothing to the attack. But he didn't remotely get the quality of ball that Mane got first half.

Coutinho again...sorry but if he's going to be the star man he has to finish the chances...

We were coming into it but seems like we are stuck in 2nd gear. Long season ahead.

We were good but Spurs were well below par. We should have capitalised on a really crappy opposition. They were lucky to get a draw but we won't meet softies every week.

 

Should have stayed on his line and let Clyne do the closing

 

But we played relatively well over all. Just got to convert those chances!

 

Defence weren't that bad, we're away at WHL - chances will be created!

Made sure Kane was anonymous.

Frustrated as Coutinho really should have burried at least one and we would have enough to close it off @ 0-2

 

Our marginally offside goal was diallowed. Their marginally offside goal was allowed.

Thought that too initially but...
Think it was a 50/50 decision...no defenders in and around him when Rose received the ball...it started pretty much one on one...some got back before shot but not going to complain too hard...If Clyne had been where he should be then Rose doesn't get the ball.
