Hard to miss him. He's massive. Solid so far and surprisingly good with a ball at his feet for a lanky twat. <ok>

Couts being predictable on the left there now.

Does anyone even notice Wijnaldum and Lallana playing? What do they do. I would say the same for Henderson, but he touched the ball at least

    End of first half

Ok we've been positive in attack, organised and looked quite solid at the back. We deserve to be in the lead

But we still can't score from open play, we're not getting behind Spurs and into the box, apart from maybe the run that got us the pen ... too much faffing around in front of them, no real attempts or ideas about how to break them open and get around and behind

Deserved to be 1 up after that half, mane causing them so much trouble so far even though he's had a man all over him all game.
Couts needs to switch it up a bit on the left, go wide like once at least mate lol

Matip and lovren look comfy enough but we are physically weaker than spurs in midfield and that's where they are dominant so far.

Good stuff so far and should've had 2pens not one.

No. They're just players who need a club to play at so we are the club they are currently playing at and while they're here they're about as involved and as interesting on the pitch as a piece of plain A4 printer paper. All teams have them I guess

Sorry to break it to you but football isn't just about kicking the ball....

Wiji and Lala are moving the other players out of position so the likes of Mane, Firmino, Coutinho can exploit the space <ok>

    Pretty good half there.

Coutinho: can put in a corner from 30 but on a plate apparently can't aim. And how many times does he get a yellow card for stopping a free kick??

Henderson actually passing the simple stuff....to our players.

    Back 4 solid enough.

Mane frightening Spurs but tbf Vorm has been alert and quick.

Lala actually doing a lot of work...think that's his job now...Harry Harry Harry...

Disagree. Put Can in midfield and you will notice a massive difference.

Also in the top half of the pitch Gini is calm on the ball and his decision making is good. He's an important cog imo.

Just watch his movement he's always there to receive the ball. It makes the game easier for everyone else. It's very intelligent play. It doesn't look flashy but it is clever.

Exactly. It's all part of the great of the team. Players that don't stand out will always get mocked, but they play their part by movement, decision making and covering space.

It's an easy cop-out for people to scapegoat.

Yes they could probably get more involved, but they're doing what the team needs and what Klopp has trained them to do.
