I generally feel pretty good about the squad but our bench today looks weak. Some of those guys have a lot of potential but for today we look kinda shallow

They've ripped us apart twice close to our box now. Lucky not to be behind despite shaving it in general play imo

Liverpool the better team now. They're through us like a hot knife through butter. Lucky they can't finish so far. Sturridge would have.

    Janssen for walker? Strange

We know they're going to score. We just need to score more

  7. Rose gets booked for a foul that was at worst the same as the one Mane conceded earlier without picking up a card. ****ing inconsistency in officials!! And as I write this Janssen gets blocked and held in the box - no foul...... :headbang:

Janssen was looking for that. Was holding Matip as much as vice-versa. "Look sir he's blocking me!"

Commentators here just said Klopp has less points in first 32 games than Brenton had in last 32

  10. it started that way but the replay clearly showed the arm being used to block him off

So why would the ref choose to penalise the 2nd offence? The first offence was at best "6 of one" so right call just to let it go imo

Looked to me like Firminho tripped on his own feet.
Maybe Lamela made some small contact with his trailing foot, but it wasn't as a challenge, I think their strides just overlapped.
    Bullshit penalty imo.

He deffo clipped him causing him to trip himself. Silly.

Yeah it was a strides thing, but why risk that happening in the box?

I dont think he meant to though, it wasnt a challenge, they were both just running and Lamelas front foot hit firminho's trailing foot in their respective strides.
    Wasn't even a challenge imo.
Contact was minimal too, I know it doesnt take much at that speed, but it was totally accidental.
    Never a penalty for me.

Well how else is he going to challenge him?
Just stand off him and give him a free run into the box?
