The Long Way Up

I'm hoping this thread will be picked up and used as a TV series I don't think there's anything like it out there.

I will be documenting the sometimes dangerous and certainly exciting journey from South to North Wales on a train. That's right a train.

There will be highs and lows in sure and you're all invited to join me on this epic journey.

To Holyhead visiting family I have provisions which I will list later.

 

It's a chilly morning and I have no jumper if it doesn't clear up I may be in trouble, no matter how much you plan there's always something that goes wrong. I'll push on through for now.

Just going through the Ceiber pass (Penrhiwceiber) and then it's onto Aber sign on (Abercynon).

@ValleyGraduate12 is familiar with this territory and can confirm that it is in fact bandit country.

Well it certainly reached as far as the Channel Islands, so yeah

 

'Dangerous'? Dangerous is working the 22.13 York -Leeds on a Saturday night rammed tight full of pissheads after the Ebor races.
