    Hey'up Jammy,

Not so sure about dropping Ant to bench tbh Jammy, at moment he looks like he can score a lot of goals from open play, something we lacked a lot of last season, and definitely need this season. I personally rate Antonsson at moment, but if our midfield crumble it could make Ant look mediocre, or Ant could go cold himself; something that we'll have to wait and see if either happens.

I'd agree with Dallas and Sacko down each wing, if Dallas tires then we could bring Roofe on to help smash through their defensive wall and open the door for our strikers.......:emoticon-0148-yes:

I'm going for a hard fought 2-1 to Leeds, but this will depend on the team selection.

I listened to the Monk pressed yesterday. Like others have said, he's impressive and interesting to listen to. one point was of particular interest I thought. He says team selection will change for every match based on perceived weaknesses or threats he sees in the opposition and our tactics may also change. Apparently this was how we exposed weaknesses in the windiest game. I just hop our lot are versatile enough to implement potentially weekly changes if that's what Monk meant

I agree in hoping we are versatile enough and it isn't a jack of all trades master of none scenario. I would much prefer us to have a solid 8-9 positions sorted with 2-3 pushing for a place and players knowing what is expected.

I believe it is a dangerous game to play trying to cancel out the opposition strengths, I would prefer to be a great team that others worry about, a team that others feel forced to make the changes against.

a win today though and I might be thinking we have a coach and team full of geniuses <ok>

Think monk is playing mind games and trying to get in the heads of opposition coaches. If it makes them change their usual tactics to surprise us then that might give us a marginal advantage and improve the results. Seems a good idea to me.

I agree with both paras Ristac,

Regarding them both together, it would be great if we could have 14 positions the opposition would worry about, like the Revie era, although that's probably way into future for now, unless our new signings play in overdrive every week.

Always a dangerous game trying to suppress other teams strengths, one mistake or miscalculation can be very costly however, as they say, no one gets anywhere without taking a risk. We'll also need to take risks to stave off complacency and keep the players keen and inspired.

We've had past managers say same thing, it's a case of implementing it and, actually bringing it to fruition rather than just talk about it cos it's what others want to hear; time will tell.....:emoticon-0148-yes:

Ristac, I agree it's a dangerous tactic. Hope chippy is right regarding the mind games and it's not that we don't have players good enough to dominate the opposition with our game plan.

I think I prefer Roofe & Sackho down each wing with Bridcutt sitting in front of the back 4 and Hernandez having the box to box free role

No other coach has been supported by Cellino as much as Monk, he must have said something right to Cellino.
