I am just grateful that LDL didn't say the game is a 6 pointer in the battle for 7th place (as he has more experience of that of late than we do) .
7th is great. You haven't got the stress of a title challenge or even top 4 shenanigans. You're not worried about relegation and sometimes, if you're really lucky, you might qualify to play in Europe and visit the delights of Metallurgist Krjzpovnegrad or Dinamo Ostenfelthatundlederhosen 7th is very comfy
I'm convinced they invent some of these teams in the Europa to have a laugh. What's that? We have a spot to fill? Okay, call up the national team coach and get some players. We'll call them Dinamo something or other, everyone likes Dinamo something or other...though anything to do with Young Boys or some other wildly inappropriate English name is fun, too.
The PL table for each season is sized at the : - beginning of the season to accommodate the lowest place predictions for any of the Sky 4 - end of the season to accommodate the lowest-placed finish of one of the Sky 4. So in August the PL has 5 teams in it, and come the following May anything from 5 to 9 (at best) .
Coutinhio's in my fantasy team, which by the usual track record means he'll be incapable of passing to a teammate, score an own goal, then break his leg in two places in the last minute.
Not as comfy as 8th-12th which it felt like we occupied for 2 decades at one point. Guess you have more productive weekends when the football doesn't matter from early feb onwards though.
12.30 start....to accommodate tv.What time are the Liverpool fans got to get up to catch the train or whatever. For Spurs fans in Eastern USA,that's a 7-30am kick off. Lord knows what the time will be in Australia as we do have fans out there too.But tv money comes first and the fans a poor second.
Will be watching from the hotel bar in Spain. The last time I watched Spurs play when I was in Spain we were away to Blackpool. We dominated the game and somehow managed to lose 4-0. Next day there was an article in some rag explaining how Charlie Adam was better than Modric. Anyway, just wanted to apologise in advance.
What about the last one you always throw in..the one that gets you the most likes? Something along the lines of : ' See it worked again lads, Coys'
I didn't see the interview but I can see why he's confident as Spurs just haven't found their form yet.
Don't worry. Some f***er's in the wrong time zone, wherever they live. The positive is that some Scousers will have to be up and at Lime St Station dead early
He was saying how Liverpool would be able to handle The Press because of the work they do on the training ground - which is something that could well come back to bite him. On the subject of interviews coming back to haunt them, Wijnaldum has said he was keen to join us and was so close to doing so that he went to Poch's house for a meeting - but then he said how keen he was to join Liverpool after just one meeting with Norbert...a meeting which took place after we pulled the plug on the deal due to Wijnaldum's wage demands.
