I think it would be hilarious, if they did that.
Can you imagine the gnashing of teeth, the wailing and whining emanating from Liverpool, Manchester (and Surrey of course) and London as year after year they win absolutely nothing?
If/when it happens, I just hope there is no easy way back to the English league, for those teams that become disillusioned at being bottom half, year after year, and want to opt back into a league where they have "history" of being top dogs.
Make them start from the bottom, and also make their second string teams compete in a European league as well.
    Feck'em.

Interesting to see Bristol City's attendances at their last two home games as the modernisation of Ashton Gate continues. 21,000 or 22,000. As their opponents were Villa and Newcastle that may have had some bearing. But it would be good to see this level maintained and of course that team make a push for promotion.

What price are Chelsea going to put on Abraham who is at Bristol City on loan? I did suggest this was a player Saints should have at least made a bid for. Maybe we can tempt Chelsea to part with him for £10m.

A bit surreal. Just saw a video that a spurs supporting mate put up on facebook. It's of a West Ham fan dancing and singing to that awful 'Southampton in Europa' song, only he's changed the words to fit West Ham. Over 300,000 views and he's rightly getting slated for his embarrassing moves etc. Luckily no-one seems to know its by our fans.

So fat Sam was brought in to bring big changes to the England squad and stamp his no nonsense authority. First squad he calls up basically the exact same squad as the Euro's but with one change that nobody had suggested :D

Gotta love England, the gift that keeps on giving

I am willing to give him a chance to put his own stamp on the team before judging him.

Thought he'd make more changes, but Sam deserves a chance. One game should be enough for Hendo to be found out!

I've got a mint condition hardback copy of that, which I have never even opened. I bought it after you recommended it, but the book was in such perfect condition that I left it in the protective cover it came in and put it on one of my bookcases intending to buy a more well thumbed copy. Am itching to open and read it now despite it being such a nice first edition...best get on t'internet and try and get a cheap paperback copy :emoticon-0100-smile

Let me see if my "mate" ever gave me my copy back... If he did, I'll send it to you.
