Just been browsing another (neutral) forum, not specifically to do with football. One guy on there is adamant this kid is the next John Terry.
Oh no - I hope the rest of the squad are watching their WAGs then - especially if he offers to help them during times of marital problems..........
Why do you two think this? Flint hasn't been linked with a move for ages and Moore's been signed as backup - we've even sold Williams now too!
'Flint hasn't been linked with a move for ages and Moore's been signed as backup' If Junior thinks Moore is ready for the Championship he might be thinking of going with a back 3 - Moore, Flint and Magnusson. Nothing at all wrong with 3-5-2 if you have the right type of players with the requisite ability and understanding. SC went wrong, continually, playing square pegs in round holes.
It would have been my choice, but as long as we have the right kind of players in midfield and attack ? We have pace to burn up front, but is the midfield fluid enough or quick enough for a Leicester style set- up ? I guess we could dispense with one holding player and use either O'Neil or Smith in a different capacity. It would suit ODowda, Tommo I'm not so sure...
.... and sticking with a losing formation right to the end, deploying subs at 85 minutes. Nobody should do that unless forced to by injuries or a red card. The proof was when Pemberton took over we went to 4-4-2 and immediately stopped the rot.
4 AT THE BACK ... in this division a must .. attacking full backs Ayling was always doing his bit .. but he is gone now, Little likes to move up, but not so much ... we must be close to 2 new players in the next week or I fear we are light ...... and promotion is not the aim ...!!!!!!!
A very positive signing and potentially a very lucrative one. We all know there is a severe lack of quality English centre backs in the game at the moment, a good season or two for us and there will be clubs lining up to pay big money. Does anyone know if Lens have a sell on clause?
