My three favourites to lift the EL from an objective point of view are Shakhtar, Olympiakos and Zenit. 4 Italian teams, 4 Turkish teams so those two nations are well represented. Of course we do not know which 8 teams will eventually drop into the EL from the CL, but I am thinking these three teams have an abundance of experience that should see them progress to the latter stages of the competition.
So folks we need to learn a chant in Italian so make friends with the Italians and they will teach us, in Czech and in Hebrew. Imagine singing a Saints song in Hebrew at PL matches.
I was joking about the flag...... I have no plans to die in Israel, or even support the country in any way.
This was translated from the Hebrew in the 16th century. Sing unto the Lord, oh ye saints of his, and give thanks at the rememberence of his holiness. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning - Psalm 30
Flight prices creeping up already. Before the fixtures were confirmed I checked flights to Milan for the 19th - 21st October and they were £30 return from Stansted, now £50 so not too bad.....
Got mine for £70 with easy jet - Wednesday afternoon dep, Sunday afternoon return...luckily I have relations who live close to Milan and could crack on with booking. Better tell them i'm coming
You are **** and we are great(?) First part is correct but the second. Over to you Saintly Hero to establish this chant.
Flights sorted for Milan, now need somewhere to stay. Anybody on here know anywhere decent to stay? Close to city centre, San Siro stadium, Milan Malpensa airport...??
Still £35 from Bristol, pretty sure I will have zero chance of getting a ticket though as a non ST holder. Can't see an 80k seater selling out though so might go in the home end Decisions, decisions
