I'm poised on booking.com - Two really good long weekend venues with those who have a partner with zero football interest
Israel is a beautiful and fascinating country with a banging nightlife in Tel Aviv. Highly recommended.
Anyone know how long the 'ticket bundles' will be on sale for before they start selling the individual matches? And whether season ticket seating is reserved? I want to get one but will have to wait for payday to get mine....
Turner Stadium, Be'er Sheva - Capacity 16k San Siro, Milan - Capacity 80k Generali Arena, Prague - Capacity 19k
San Siro never fills up so shouldn't be difficult to get tickets for. Imagine Be'er Sheva won't be too popular among Saints fans (I hope because I really fancy this one). Prague may be the challenge in terms of people wanting tickets.
After West Ham's dropout last night and today's draw for us, I wonder if Zaza is currently asking for directions to the M3 southbound ...
I'm not going to have enough points for at least two of those. But hopefully I can get tickets for Milan, I think I'll make the effort with the Mrs as long as it's not one of the September games (can't get time off in September, working in education).
Even if you can't get away tickets for San Siro, then home sections shouldn't be too difficult. Nice to research a city I knew nothing about in Be'er Sheva. It's an hours drive from Tel-Aviv(2 hour train) which is the only city with direct flights to the UK. Plenty of other facts, like it's major sport is Chess and has a spectacular looking engineering college.
I don't know if I mentioned it before but we went to the San Siro in April. Here's some snaps just to get you all a little bit more excited.
That is a good draw for Saints fans. Of the 4 Italian teams, Inter would have been my second choice behind Fiorentina but as Milan is a city steeped in culture it will be a fascinating trip. On all the away trips there is loads to do besides sitting in bars and getting drunk.
