Morning Peeps,

Leeds make the 72 mile journey south to play Nottingham Forest tomorrow knowing a win will put them in the top half for the first time this season.

Forest have been inconsistent this term and have leaked 6 goals in their first two home games, though won both of these 4-3.

Away from home Forest have not won in the league, suffering defeats at Brentford and Brighton.

They did beat League 1 minnows Millwall at the Den midweek.

Who should Monk play?

Should Pontius start?

Should we play with three centre backs away from home?

 

Good morning all. I can't see any point in not playing him if he is fit.

 

I wouldn't be playing 3 centre backs

 

.Only if its part of a 3-5 - 2 and we play to our new strengths .

If its a 5-3-2 or worse 5-4-1 we will get battered because our keepers are not good enough to keep clean sheets when the pressure is sustained over long periods.

 

I don't think he is fit tbh. He came off after an hour with cramping...

 

I think if we played 5/3/2 using Ayling and Taylor as wing backs, that could work!!!

 

Have a bad feeling about tomorrow.

I'd play 3 in central midfield Bridgett, Philips and Vieira. No Mowatt or Hernandez as both too slow to close down.

Bit defensive but think it could work with some pace down the flanks.

 

Since Taylors head was turned my impression from the three games I have attended is that he has stopped venturing forward. Perhaps he had a kick up the pants for the Wednesday game ( don't know if he had improved, wasn't there).

 

3 in midfield we get over run and it will be like the Alamo.... No thanks.

Seriously though. I'd play Dallas and Sacko in wide midfield which would mean Antonsson dropping to the bench. He can come on with Roofe for the last 20/30 mins when we go to win the game.

we played 8 players from our academy and a crap reserve keeper and they beat us 2-1

But we did do this

He's only a passenger for the first 60 mins then he has to go off knackered !
