Up until about 2000 it used to be good with Rastas trendies tourists ravers and hip hop fans mingling and dancing in relative harmony. Something changed in the attitude from the young blacks and now it's seen as an easy way of mugging people and having a jolly old stab up . Obviously most people go there for the sound systems and floats but the wannabe gang nuggets will use the day to be ******ing. I will be in London but in East London this weekend in a Hotel.
Watched a documentary about it, the residents of Notting Hill ****ing loathe it, ****s ****ting and pissing in your garden, fights, drugs and all the other things that make a carnival.
It's a ****ing waste of time, going to it once is enough to make you feel like you should warn people to not go. Unless you like to drink warm overpriced beer and stand in a huge crowd all day listening to **** music.
