    Vicarage Road, Watford
    27th August, 15:00 pm

Arsenal and Watford enter the Premier League’s third week both needing to claim a first win of the season.

Two games into his reign at Watford the pressure is not as intense on Walter Mazzarri as it has become on Arsene Wenger, who faced displays of fan discontent both in a home defeat to Liverpool and a draw away to champions Leicester.

Wenger will be confident that a side slowing returning to match sharpness can get a win at Vicarage Road, where they won 3-0 last season, but will well remember the frustration of being dumped out of the FA Cup by the Hornets in March’s sixth round tie.

Whilst Watford knew that they faced a cruel start to the league season they can ill-afford to settle into a spiral of defeats, particularly in light of their EFL Cup exit to League One side Gillingham.

A win over their training ground neighbours would provide a major boost for Mazzarri in his early days, but just how hard would more dropped points hit Arsenal and the under-fire Wenger?

Hoping for a better performance than against the Gills....maybe even sneak a point.

New signings to all play? I await in good faith.

Would be ecstatic to get a point. Hope we just have faith, thought, concentration and good application of how WM wants us to play. The point would be a huge bonus, but I would settle for a solid performance against such talent. Will the tighter back line hold off that great centre-forward in Arsenal's history, Walcott?
Joking aside they have such a wealth of magnificent players.

We've taken the lead in all 3 games this season and failed to hold on to it. I'm going to a wedding reception tomorrow evening - I just want to go in a good mood!

Mark lawrenson is predicting 2-0 to Arsenal ( no surprise there then ) but Laura trott is predicting 1-0 to the Horns. I know who I like better.

I cannot imagine Lawrenson in Lycra cycling gear, which is maybe as well. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Then there was Albert of course...believed to be the only batsman to have struck a ball over the top of the pavilion at Lord's. He is also one of only two players to take two hat-tricks in the same first-class innings. Came to a sad end though...
